Application
A Turkish customer needed a reliable circular connector solution for outdoor industrial control equipment. The equipment was installed in a complex working environment where the connector interface had to withstand vibration, moisture, dust, frequent maintenance, and long-term operation.
Challenge
The original connector solution did not provide enough protection for the mating interface and cable outlet. During operation, the equipment was exposed to environmental changes, which increased the risk of unstable signal transmission, poor mating, cable stress, and interface contamination. Our technical team helped confirm the connector shell size, contact arrangement, contact type, mounting style, surface finish, backshell structure, and protective cover option. For the unmated condition, a matching sealing cover was recommended to protect the receptacle interface from dust, moisture, oil, and foreign particles.
Result
The final solution improved the stability of the equipment connection and reduced the risk of failure caused by vibration, cable movement, and environmental exposure.
